Latest Roundabout Design

After negotiations between Surrey County Council and representatives of BRAG and the other 3 residents associations, the highway designers have come up with a fresh scheme. This design incorporates most of the requirements that we put to them after feedback from the BRAG survey. It moves the roundabout away from the village, includes a short bypass arm to filter traffic going to Addlestone away from the village. It encloses a slightly larger car park placed nearer to Brook Hall and provides a short "dog leg" extension onto Murray Road which should make the village less attractive as an alternative route for traffic from Woking to and from the M25.
A exhibition is to be held tomorrow 13th November 2021 at Brook Hall 10am-4pm where you can meet leaders of the 4 residents organisations and see detailed displays of the new scheme and ask questions of the organisers.
