On the 20th September, BRAG spoke with the Development Manager for Runnymede Borough Council (RBC). Firstly, an apology was given for the drawn-out process which this application has undergone. However, part of the reason for this, is because there are still many negotiations taking place between RBC and the land promoter (Richborough Estates) for Ottershaw East. Initially, when the outline planning application was submitted, it was suggested the Council Planning Committee may sit to make a decision on the application in September (now). However, it has been learnt that in light of the negotiations, it is now likely to be at least in 3 months' time. We will be keeping an eye on the application and will of course notify you if there are any amended plans submitted that require further comment.
